The acclaimed Barbara Tucker, noted as The Queen of House and celebrated as a much-loved performer, releases one of her most notable recordings to date, with the original version of ‘In The Name of Love’ giving a fully appreciation of Disco. Reminiscent of classic songs from Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Loleatta Holloway and the Three Degrees among many more, Barbara takes full control of the mic, delivering beautiful harmonies, ad libs and heart-filled crescendos, as the exceptional vocal talent she globally is renowned for. Included in the release is the original producer, Young Pulse, one of the golden children of House from Paris (France), who brings us to the centre of the Studio 54 dance-floor with his epic original versions, inspired cow bells and disco whistles galore.
On the remix front-foot are Baltimore legends DJ Spen and Gary Hudgins, who team up to deliver their own glorious take-us-to-the-church inspired production, which is sure to lift our spirits to the roof. Rounding the package off perfectly is a returning remixer from Tokyo, the excellent Masakii Morii, whose darker Afro-style completes a top set of mixes. From Paris, to Baltimore, to Tokyo and way beyond, Barbara Tucker and BStar Music continues to scan the land for the best talent in town, crossing oceans and bridging the gaps to bring people of all walks together, uniting everyone on the dance-floor, all “In The Name Of Love”. On release now via Traxsource and on all major world wide platforms from Feb 13th.
