They had this crazy idea of making lyrics out of the titles of the songs from the 80s. Most are exactly like the original, a few are only slightly modified. The difficulty was to combine all these songs into a story. At the same time, to revive the spirit of the 80s. That wonderful time in music history. She would have been 73 in May 2021 and most likely have retired those disco shoes fully but she could sing the lower bpm songs wonderfully too as is evident in the slow sections of Last Dance on the Midnight Special live performance above. That show was all about the artist’s doing their thing with definitely no room for miming. Rest In Peace and thank you for popping your song On The Radio into my thoughts early this morning.
