Roberto Bates feat Malberg – I Just Died In Your Arms

“(I Just) Died in Your Arms” was released in 1986 as the debut single by English pop- rock band Cutting Crew and was the band’s biggest hit, reaching number one in the United States, Canada, Norway and Finland and the top five in Germany, Ireland, the UK, South Africa, Sweden and Switzerland.

For dance chart experienced DJ Roberto Bates, the 80s are not only the decade of mega hits, but this song was always something special, as it was during this time that he started his band BATES MOTEL, for whom he still writes the songs today. Roberto Bates was nominated for the German Songwriting Award in Berlin in the POP category for his work at the end of 2023.

In collaboration with the artist Marcel Huber alias “Malberg”, who became famous in Austria through the casting show “Die große Chance”, this modern mix was created, which shows great respect for the 80s. Now the hit is back on the dancefloors: “It was a long hot night!”
