Nico Dacido ft Franke Pharoah – He’s Different

Nico Dacido is one of the most famous pioneers of dance music in Germany. Under the stage name Robotnico he has delivered club and chart hits like the legendary “Backfired” or “Can you feel the beat” and conquered the charts and clubs with the Mosquito Headz with “El Ritmo” and “Fuego”. With Robin Hirte he has also published some fat tracks for the clubs as Dacido & Hirte. With Franke Pharoah he found an incredibly interesting singer for his new release.

Franke already had two chart hits in the U.K. with “Understand this Groove” and “Love Come Home” and was No.1 in the British club charts with “Understand This Groove” (produced by Rollo – Faithless) and reached No. 2 in the USA Billboard Dance Charts with “Love Come Home”. He toured all over the United States and “Understand This Groove” also hit # 1 on the radio charts. It also means a lot to him that he was on tour as a backing singer with Marvin Gaye. With the jointly written emotional track “He’s Different”, both now want to conquer the clubs, radios and charts together.

It is difficult to make a video during these times, so they first had a lyric video made, which goes very well with this title. Remixes of Nico’s further project “Rockin Robots” and of “The Optimizer” complete this release. \

Ten City – Devotion

“Devotion” comes in many shapes, sizes and emotions. It is an action of giving that is vital to the successful growth of anything we care about, our loved one’s, our well being, our work and our duty to leave this earth in a better place than we were born into. This song with its message is so timely right now that it deserves your full consideration from today then to infinity and beyond. DJs can be messengers of messianic proportions. I once believed that collectively they could change the direction of humanity and still have faith in that idealism. “DEVOTION” to make life better for one or all, courtesy of Byron Stingily and Marshall Jefferson with remixes from Illyus, Barrientos, DJ Spen & Thommy Davis plus the Marshall himself. Mazza – Smalltown Boy

There are few covers of classic dance songs that can keep to the original quality of the hit but then take the new version up even higher in power and performance. These two Klaas remixes are so good that they, in our opinion, are better than the Bronski Beat. Klaas is one of the most successful DJ & dance producers worldwide with almost 5 million listeners currently per month on Spotify – Mazza is one of the best Swiss producers and performers in the EDM scene with millions of plays on YouTube & Spotify. A new monster track for 2021..

** “Smalltown Boy”, the synth-pop dance hit of 1984 by Bronski Beat, is about a boy who is despised by his fellow men because of his homosexuality. First single & top ten hit: # 3 in UK’s Top 40, # 3 in Germany, # 2 in Switzerland & #1 for 13 weeks in the US dance charts.

Ten City – Be Free

“In the beginning”, as Marshall Jefferson started one of the most creatively produced House records of all time, at the dawning of House music, when the dance music songs were akin to going to Church for a spiritual release, to forget the troubles of living and come alive on the dancefloor with your people around you smiling in a similar mindset of “this feels like freedom”.
Expertly and imperialistically taking us back to that beginning are the fabled Byron Stingily and Marshall Jefferson as Ten City in 2021 with “Be Free” released by Patrick Moxey (thank you sir) of Ultra Music from New York. When you’ve known these guys, for more than a few Manhattan minutes, the sense of their feeling for the “The Truth” is evident in the recordings and thank the heavens we all have the sanctuary of this music being freshly offered to roll us out of the fog that these last, long, months have been, without the collective togetherness of being out, en masse, side by side and cumulatively alive to the beat and much needed melodies. Without being political it’s the dawning of a new time brothers and sisters, where the roaring new-millennium 20’s will be awash with positivity and “BE FREE” to move love forward, equally.
Take a bow Byron, Marshall and Patrick. Next up, this Friday is a classic that starts with D and ends with ‘ion”. You’ve been sermoned and summoned. Hallelujah for House Music.. EG..
“YOU BE YOU, LET ME BE ME, EVERYBODY WANTS EQUALITY, FREE TO LOVE, FREE TO GIVE, I JUST WANT TO LIVE, THIS LIFE, I LIVE” (BE FREE)..

Zoned Out featuring Jade Thirwell – Love Is Blind

Pre Little Mix fame Jade Thirwell collaborated with song writer Mark Wiley to create ‘Love is Blind’. Mark was not happy with the end result of his production and as a result of introduction to Jim ‘Shaft’ Ryan by Ditto Distribution CEO Lee Parsons, Jim and his studio partner Ian Wallman, under their production guise of Zone Out went to work on the vocal producing what can only be described as a sensational piece of electronic pop music.
